• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (JGAAP) • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including corporate tax, consumption tax and fix asset tax. • Prepare supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Internal Audit and the external auditors as necessary. • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash. Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred More than three (3) years of accounting experience Language: Japanese Native, English Business Competencies • Self-starter who can manage multiple initiatives from beginning to end with minimal supervision. • Capable to work in short deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be flexible where necessary. • Analytical Thinking, Multi-tasking
