Job Summary

The job holder will have responsibility for locating, expanding, managing and continuously improving the APAC / EMEA/ AME Approved Sub Vendor network to enable the cost effective and timely supply

Job Details

• Locating & qualifying sub vendors for Machined & Cast Parts for EMEA, APAC, AME • Conducts periodic auditing of new and existing sub vendors. • Work with appropriate buyers to make or buy the A/B/C categorized parts. • Responsible for Design & conducting oversight in conjunction with Sourcing & Quality Departments the standardized procedures for post order execution of localize manufacture of machined, cast, etc... aftermarket parts to ensure optimal quality and OTD of Contracts • Maintains high level relationship with key sub vendors and participates in expediting activities as an when needed • Works to win new business opportunities by working closely with tender engineering on pre-sale quoting from suppliers for the high-valued purchased components.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of castings and machining commodities. • Strong knowledge of supply chain management required • Demonstrated competency in strategic sourcing. • Strong negotiations skills
