Position: Operations Pump Testing Engineer Location: Navi Mumbai Salary : As per market standards Joining : At the earliest Qualifications : Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering Qualification Experience : • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production engineering • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in pump testing & offer third party inspection • Knowledge of measurement devices like flowmeter, VFD etc. • Well Experience with API-610 and working knowledge of motor, VFD, steam turbine, gear box and Hydraulic coupling will be added advantage. • Making pump testing Schedule. • Layout design, selection of test bed and collection of various accessories. • Maintaining Calibration Records of various pump testing instruments. • Order wise study the testing requirements proactively & plan the necessary actions. • Calculate impeller diameters well in advance. • Implementation of new software ( gCAT) as per SPD guidelines. • Involvement test bed major improvement projects. • Encouraging worker for 5S, Kaizen etc. • Keeping records of all pump test reports and various pump testing accessories. • Part of various audits such as OSHAS, EMS, 5S. • Purchasing of instrument, accessories etc which needs to test purpose. • Maintaining co-ordination with various departments such as design, assembly, manufacturing, • production, dispatch, planning, sector etc. • Shift allocation of workers.
