JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE Manager – Business Development (Food Services) Company Website- http://cssgroupindia.com/ Linked In-https://www.linkedin.com/company/comprehensive-support-service-pvt-ltd/about/ LOCATION Chandigarh RESPONSIBILITES Work with GM – BD for Sales and BD REPORTING TO GM – Business Development POSITION GOALS • Achievement of net operating revenue, and new business targets in accordance with performance appraisal deliverables. • Oversee local new business activities • Seek out new business opportunities and market segments in respective region. • Work with other business lines to promote cross-sell. • Work with the CSS operations teams to ensure the smooth transition of the new appointments. • Achieve the objectives contained in the Individual Performance Management Plan for the position. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES This role requires significant liaison with Operations, HR and Purchase teams in respective region and corporate office in Pune. Specific responsibilities: New Business Strategy • Determine the target market segments in conjunction with the General Manager – Sales & Business Development. • Contribute to and support the Regional Business Plan. • Work with the Director- Sales & Business Development on pricing strategies. • Actively Research and observe competitor activity Financial Accountability • Contribute to the quarterly forecasting sessions. • Meet the agreed new business targets (as per IPMP) by supporting new business activities in respective region. • Identify for cross selling opportunities for other business lines. New Business Development • Formulate proposals, presentation materials and responses for RFPs. • Cold call or network with new clients in target market segments. EXPERIENCE • Masters / Bachelor of Marketing. • Business development experience preferably in similar business • 5-7 years experience in operations and/or business development in Food Service or Facility Management Service. • Good local knowledge of the Regional market. SKILLS • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal • Good presentation skills • Good understanding of financials • Self motivated • Organised. • Hands-on
