Engineering and technical know-how on Auto Interior products like – Cockpit (IP), Floor Consoles, Door Trims, Pillar Trims, Parcel shelfs, Headliners, Trunk Trims, Load Floor etc. Responsible for deliverables for advance RFQ and pursuit business cases Understand customer’s - RFQ / SOR / DCS / Enquiry and do the technical analysis Prepare Design Concept for FSS RFQs Do the benchmark studies from competition and future upcoming technologies Prepare RFQ inputs for BOP, Mechanisms, outsourcing parts, fasteners as inputs to purchase in advance RFQ level Explore new technologies and supplier for competitive product offerings to customer Co-ordinate within Customer, CFT & Suppliers for proper understanding and in order to prepare technical proposals. Technical comparison within engineering proposals for performance, piece price and investment estimates Prepare Initial DVP from customer inputs, typical benchmark information and best practices to prepare commercial offer for the RFQ Prepare Design Concept for FSS RFQs and Detail Prepare technical proposal (Tech Review Presentation) against RFQ with detail technical input BoM, Design Concpet, Materials, Processes, Finish, Assembly Sequence, Validation Plan, Benchmark data etc… VAVE & Alternate ideas and design concepts Proper document sign off with customer for RFQ level agreement – Scope of Work, RASIC, BoM, DVP, Materials, Tooling, Process, FTG etc…. Technology Prototype development Maintain open issues document & proper handover to program team on business award Expected to follow departmental procedures and documentation to comply with IATF 16949 quality system standards and company policy. Knowledge of process, procedure and system to carry out assigned tasks, like -RFQ, Tooling , Costing and Business Development. Proactively contribute to companywide continuous improvement programs Any other duties/ functions assigned from time to time by the management
