Experience: 10 Yrs (Post Qualification) in Internal Audit in Manufacturing, Construction & trading sectors Candidate with ‘CIA’ certification will be an added advantage Job Description - The role will involve managing internal audit projects end to end starting from planning, fieldwork, report preparation, discussion and finalization of report with senior management at clients working across sectors in Oil & Gas , Petrochemical, manufacturing,. The position should be able to work independently and as a part of the Internal Audit team to carry out the following duties; Perform entire audit cycle including detailed risk assessment, planning, executing and reporting of internal audits in accordance with the robust Internal Audit department manual and methodology. Perform follow-up audits to ensure that audit findings are addressed by management. Conducting special audit/review assignments as directed by Internal Audit Partner Roles and Responsibilities: Plans, and execute audit assignments in accordance with the IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (the Standards), and the Internal Audit department’s operating manual and methodology. o Develops risk based audit work programs with relevant key controls. o Executes audit work program and evaluates risks and controls of audited areas. o Documents audit work in line with department methodology, Identifies issues and provides professional added-value recommendations. o Determines the focus and direction of specific audits, plans the objectives, approach, scope and work program to accomplish audit objectives in accordance with the audit plan and within time constraints, ensuring timely completion of audit projects. o Evaluate the internal control environment and assess the design, effectiveness and adequacy of key systems and processes. o Regularly informing the Internal Audit Manager of the status of the audits in progress and of any significant issues on a timely basis o Discussing, on a timely manner audit findings with management of audited area to clarify or confirm findings o Makes oral or written presentations identifying areas of improvement or non-compliance and recommends corrective action to enhance controls and operations efficiency. o Collaborates with and guides management of audited areas to ensure good business practices and internal controls. o Preparing audit report in line with best practice in audit reports writing o Conduct follow-up reviews of audit findings to ensure recommendations and agreed action plans are implemented. o Maintaining confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in the capacity of role in accordance with the prevailing policies. o Complying consistently with laws, policies, procedures, standards and practices o Adhering to requirements of the Occupational Health & safety and infection control guidelines Key skills: • Skilled in conducting detailed audit reviews, collecting and analyzing data and providing comprehensive summaries and reports. • Understanding of internal control concepts and risk assessment practices and their application and evaluation • Experience in handling multiple projects and working with varying team members • Ability to meet goals and deadlines • Understanding of technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting • Proficiency in English Language • Familiar with audit in SAP / Oracle ERP
